These Terms of Service explain the rules and conditions for using Inkorly’s website and services. Inkorly is operated by Team Up Banners LLC under the Inkorly brand.
By visiting our website, purchasing a service, starting a subscription, submitting content, or using an Inkorly-powered website or dashboard, you agree to these Terms.
Inkorly provides built-for-you author websites with an easy-to-use author dashboard. Services may include website design, website setup, hosting-related support, book and review management tools, blog or update features, custom author pages, basic website maintenance, and related support.
Inkorly websites are custom-designed around the author’s brand, books, and reader experience using Inkorly’s proven website system, tools, design framework, and platform structure.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information needed to create and maintain your website, including author details, book information, images, reviews, links, blog posts, page content, and other materials.
You are responsible for making sure you have the legal right to use any content you provide, including book covers, images, illustrations, logos, testimonials, reviews, excerpts, names, trademarks, and third-party materials.
You agree not to use Inkorly services for unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, harmful, fraudulent, or unrelated purposes.
Inkorly websites are intended to support the customer’s author brand, books, writing, reader community, events, media appearances, speaking opportunities, blog posts, reader updates, book sales, newsletter growth, and related author marketing.
Customers may create pages that reasonably relate to their author platform, including book pages, event pages, blog posts, reader resources, media kits, contact pages, bonus content, school visit information, speaking pages, author updates, and similar author-related content.
Customers may not use Inkorly websites or unlimited page features to create unrelated websites, unrelated business pages, spam pages, affiliate schemes, deceptive marketing pages, high-risk or prohibited content, illegal content, or content that falls outside the reasonable purpose of an author website.
Inkorly reserves the right to remove, restrict, suspend, or request changes to content that we believe is unrelated to the intended purpose of the service, harmful to the platform, unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, excessive, or likely to violate the policies of our hosting, payment, software, or service providers.
Regular setup is typically completed within 2–3 weeks after we receive the needed content, direction, access, and feedback from you.
Timelines may vary depending on project complexity, revision requests, delayed content, delayed feedback, technical issues, workload, third-party services, domain/DNS delays, or other factors outside our control.
Rush setup may be available for an additional fee when scheduling allows. Rush setup means priority setup and is typically completed within 7 days after we receive the required content, direction, access, and approvals.
Inkorly includes a reasonable review process before launch. You may request changes to your site before launch, and we will make reasonable edits that fit within the purchased service.
Major changes, custom features, additional complex pages, advanced design requests, unusual integrations, extensive rewrites, or work outside the standard Inkorly service may require additional fees or a separate agreement.
Once your website is approved or launched, future changes may be handled through your dashboard, included support, or additional paid service depending on the request.
Inkorly’s standard pricing may include:
A monthly website subscription
A one-time setup fee
Optional rush setup, if available
Optional annual billing, if offered
Optional add-on services, if requested
Prices are shown on the website, proposal, invoice, or checkout page at the time of purchase.
Monthly subscriptions continue until canceled. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring billing through our payment processor.
You may cancel your subscription according to the cancellation process provided by Inkorly or through the billing portal when available.
Canceling your subscription may result in loss of hosting, dashboard access, support, updates, licenses, maintenance, and continued use of the Inkorly website system.
Cancellation does not automatically refund prior payments unless required by law or stated in our Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy.
Refunds, setup fees, rush setup, delivery timelines, subscription cancellation, and annual billing are governed by our Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy.
By purchasing Inkorly services, you agree to that policy.
You own the original content you provide, such as your book descriptions, author bio, images, reviews, blog posts, page text, and other author materials.
Inkorly retains ownership of its underlying systems, code, dashboard tools, reusable layouts, processes, design framework, plugins, templates, workflows, documentation, and platform structure.
Your website may depend on Inkorly’s tools, hosting setup, dashboard system, licenses, plugins, software, maintenance, and platform structure. Continued use of those systems may require an active subscription.
If you cancel your subscription, we may provide access to your original content where reasonably practical, but we are not required to provide access to proprietary Inkorly systems, plugins, layouts, tools, or platform infrastructure.
You are responsible for maintaining ownership and control of your domain name, email accounts, book retailer accounts, newsletter tools, payment accounts, social accounts, and other third-party accounts unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Inkorly may help configure or connect certain third-party services, but we are not responsible for loss of access, pricing changes, outages, policy changes, account restrictions, or technical issues caused by third-party providers.
Inkorly may use or connect with third-party services such as payment processors, hosting providers, WordPress, plugins, email tools, analytics services, domain registrars, security tools, and other software providers.
We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, pricing changes, errors, account suspensions, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.
Inkorly does not guarantee book sales, traffic, search rankings, email subscribers, speaking bookings, media coverage, reviews, revenue, or business results. We provide website services and tools, but your results depend on many factors outside our control.
You agree not to:
Upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, hateful, deceptive, or infringing content
Violate the rights of others
Use content you do not own or have permission to use
Attempt to access systems you are not authorized to access
Interfere with website security, performance, or availability
Use the service for spam, scams, fraud, malware, phishing, or deceptive activity
Misrepresent your identity, books, reviews, qualifications, or business
Use Inkorly to promote unrelated businesses, prohibited products, high-risk activities, or content that creates risk for Inkorly or its service providers
Use unlimited page features in a way that is excessive, abusive, unrelated to your author brand, or harmful to the platform
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe a customer is violating these Terms, misusing the service, creating risk for Inkorly, or violating the policies of our hosting, payment, software, or service providers.
Inkorly provides support according to the scope of your plan and the support details shown on our website or provided during signup.
Support may include help with dashboard questions, basic website updates, billing questions, setup questions, or troubleshooting.
Support does not necessarily include custom development, advanced integrations, extensive design changes, content writing, copyediting, SEO strategy, marketing services, domain disputes, email deliverability consulting, or unrelated technical support unless separately agreed.
We may update, improve, modify, replace, or discontinue parts of the Inkorly service over time. We may also add, remove, or change features, dashboard tools, layouts, plugins, hosting configurations, or third-party services when needed to maintain or improve the platform.
We will try to avoid disrupting active customer websites, but some changes may be necessary for security, performance, compatibility, compliance, or business reasons.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inkorly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, reputational harm, lost book sales, lost opportunities, or loss caused by third-party services.
Our total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the amount you paid to Inkorly for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose, unless a different limit is required by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Inkorly, its owner, team members, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your content, your use of the services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of another person’s rights, or materials you provide for your website.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Inkorly services if you violate these Terms, fail to pay required fees, misuse the platform, create risk for Inkorly or other customers, or violate the policies of our hosting, payment, software, or service providers.
If your account is terminated, you may lose access to your website dashboard, hosting, support, updates, and platform features.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
